Nick and Rebekah Allen

For Nick and Rebekah (née Jourdain) Allen, the early part of their relationship was centred around Massey, where Nick was a postgrad student and Bex was a chaplain. Nick’s degrees include a BA in 2012, and a Certificate in Business Studies and BA (Hons) in 2014. Rebekah’s Massey degrees include a BA (2002), BA (Hons) in 2003, and a Doctor of Clinical Psychology in 2010. 

Nick shares how their love story began. “Because of a few mutual friends and our geographic proximity on campus, we initially connected on Facebook. I sent Bex a friend request and she replied with a message. After a week of chatting online, Bex and I had our first date at Wharerata. Many on-campus dates ensued, and our relationship blossomed. And then it was the morning of our wedding, when we decided to get some photos at Massey, where it all began.”
