We’re refreshing the Massey University Strategy and we’d like to hear your thoughts on what’s important
Tēnā tātou katoa,
Consultation on the revised Massey University Strategy is now open, and I would love to have your feedback as a member of our alumni whānau. You can offer a lived experience of Massey and I would value your thoughts on shaping Massey’s future.
The Massey University Strategy 2018-2022 sets the university’s direction and has informed other key documents, such as our Investment Plan (which is how the university ensures we meet Government expectations) and other associated strategies (such as the way we teach and research). This in turn informs a range of strategic projects that the university invests in, which ultimately help improve the student experience.
We are now in the process of refreshing the strategy and want to make sure this guiding document reflects your thoughts, views, and aspirations of how Massey should progress into the future. This strategy will have a focus on outcomes and the contributions we make to New Zealand and the world, as well as ensuring the university remains financially sustainable and remains domestically and internationally competitive.
Consultation is now open and will run until Friday 8 October. Following consultation, the Massey University Council will be presented with a final strategy to consider and sign off by the end of the year so that next year we can begin to develop the refreshed strategies, investment plan and other initiatives that will be guided by this document.
You can read the draft strategy here and provide online feedback on the Massey website here.
Thank you for taking this time - your feedback is much appreciated.
Ngā mihi nui,
Tere McGonagle-Daly
