Massey University Press books shortlisted for awards

Massey University Press has four books shortlisted in two upcoming book awards.

Former Massey creative writing lecturer Johanna Emeney’s book, Sylvia and the Birds: How The Bird Lady saved thousands of birds and how you can, too, co-authored with illustrator Sarah Laing, is up for two awards: the Non-Fiction award in the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults and the Best Children’s Book award in the PANZ Book Design Awards.

The other Massey University Press books shortlisted in the PANZ Book Design Awards are Making Space: A history of New Zealand women in architecture, Kiwi Bikers and The RNZ Cookbook. Best of luck to all the finalists!
