About the Certificate in Financial Advice
The programme consists of one compulsory subject (Introduction to Financial Advice) and one elective subject as a specialisation depending on your career goals. Areas of specialisation include:
- Investment
- Life, disability and health insurance
- General insurance
- Residential property lending

On completion of the Certificate in Financial Advice, you’re eligible to enter the Diploma in Business Studies (Financial Advice). You may also be eligible for entry into the Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning and Advice) – the only qualification of its kind in New Zealand.
