As the graduation caps fly high, we take a moment to celebrate one of our inspiring graduates, Yemisi Omoshola Ehalaiye. Originally from Nigeria, Yemisi has called New Zealand home for the past 14 years, and today, she marks a significant milestone by earning her Master’s degree in Applied Social Work.
Yemisi’s academic journey was filled with a vibrant atmosphere and the joy of celebrating accomplishments with peers. But beyond the ceremonies and accolades, the unwavering support from her family, who were her rock, stands out the most. “The journey hasn’t been easy, but having my family by my side, especially during challenging times, has been my strength,” she shares.
Despite the hurdles, she persevered with the support of her family and her three wonderful children, her greatest motivation and joy.
Looking ahead, Yemisi is eager to apply her knowledge and skills in a practical setting. “What’s next for me is to go out there and see how I can use my degree to help support the community,” she says, brimming with enthusiasm and hope for the future.
Join us in congratulating Yemisi on her graduation and wishing her success as she embarks on this next chapter of her life, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.
