Alumna Raji Robin’s journey in healthcare began with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in India, and she has since made significant strides in her career.

In 2014, she relocated to New Zealand, where she furthered her education with a Graduate Diploma in Nursing, leading to her registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Since 2015, Raji has been a registered nurse, and her dedication and hard work were recognised when she was promoted to Clinical Services Manager in 2020.

Raji recently achieved another significant milestone by completing her Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing. Her educational journey was not without its challenges, but she managed to balance work, family, and studies with remarkable resilience. Despite these hurdles, her determination resulted in her completing the qualification within a year, alongside her full-time job.

She attributes her success to the support of her family and the exceptional tutors at Massey University, who were always available to assist and provide guidance drawn from their vast expertise.

Raji’s journey is far from over! She is determined to continue her educational pursuit towards a Master of Nursing. Her motivation stems from a childhood dream and the supportive educational environment in New Zealand, which she believes will propel her towards even greater heights in her career.
