Meet Radhika Prakash, our new graduate who recently completed her Bachelor’s in Social Work!
Originally from Fiji, Radhika began her higher education journey with a Bachelor in Education but soon realised her passion lay elsewhere. After exploring her options, she found Massey’s distance learning programme, which allowed her to transition seamlessly into social work, a field she has always been drawn to and praised for.
Radhika’s academic path was not straightforward. She started as a part-time student and transitioned to full-time, extending her study duration to six years. Despite the challenges, including long days filled with doubt, Radhika’s perseverance, determination, and self-belief shone through, leading her to this momentous achievement.
Radhika’s family has been her pillar of strength throughout her educational journey. “I’m really thankful,” she says.
Radhika is taking a well-deserved break to enjoy some “me time” away from academic writing. She’s embracing this new chapter with an open heart, ready to see where life takes her next.
