Massey University Alumni Relations invite you to attend our upcoming networking function with guest speaker and fellow alumnus, Ramesh Kumar, Research and Development Manager for Pure Rich Biogems.
Guest Speaker Ramesh Kumar
Mr Ramesh Krish Kumar is the Research & Development Manager in Pure Rich BioGems Pte Ltd. He currently oversees the company’s research and development capabilities and new product development process. Mr Ramesh has worked more than 4 years in the area of product development, nutrition research, and glycemic index research. He has also lectured and tutored local diploma students in “Food Chemistry” and “Biochemistry & Physiology for Nutrition” during his employment with Temasek Polytechnic.
Mr Ramesh graduated with a Bachelor (Honours) of Food Technology from Massey University (Singapore) in 2012 and graduated with a Master of Food Technology (Distinction) from Massey University (Manawatū) in 2016. He also holds a Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition from Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore).
He has also published and co-authored a book chapter with Massey staffs on the “Functionality of Non-starch Polysaccharides”, which explores the scientific application of polysaccharides in various food applications. In his personal capacity, Mr Ramesh manages social media’s largest food technology group “Facebook Society of Food Science, Technology, & Nutrition” (FSTAN) with 54, 000 members throughout the world.
