Get together with a group of friends and sample a variety of craft beers and nibbles made with locally sourced ingredients. Massey Alumnus and award winning beer writer Jono Galuszka will take you through the highlights of how each brew is uniquely crafted while you sample.
Be one of the first to try the limited edition Massey Alumni Brew, created especially for this event and design your own tasting notes.
At the end of the evening, the team from Alumni Relations are able to assist you in getting home with the Massey vans making regular trips from the campus to the city centre.

Jono Galuszka
Buying a bottle of hoppy pale ale, thinking it would taste like Tui, put Jono Galuszka on the path to becoming the youngest ever recipient of the Brewers Guild of New Zealand's Beer Writer of the Year award. Jono's writing has appeared in Fairfax's newspapers, stuff.co.nz the Pursuit of Hoppiness magazine, and his From Drinker to Brewer blog. Most recently, he has taken up a role as the Kiwi Correspondent for Australia's most-read craft beer news site The Crafty Pint. Jono is also regularly called on to judge beer completions, including the New World Beer & Cider Awards.
