Nibin Jose
After studying veterinary science in India, Nibin Jose completed his Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Massey University.
“After completing my veterinary degree in India, I worked as a vet in the Middle East for a few years before moving to New Zealand and joining Massey’s bridging programme. Now, I’m proud to be a Massey graduate,” Nibin shares.
Since arriving in 2022, Nibin says his experience at Massey has been nothing short of amazing. “I made many friends, had amazing teachers, and learned so many things. I’m very happy.”
One of his proudest achievements? Becoming a qualified veterinarian in New Zealand. “Now, I can travel and work anywhere in the world as a veterinarian. That’s something I’m really proud of!”
But behind the success is the massive support of his family. “My wife supported me through all the hardships,” Nibin says with tears in his eyes. “I’m really proud today. And my kids helped me so much while I was studying.”
Graduation day was made even more special with his family by his side. “They came here to support me. It’s an amazing moment!”
What’s next for Nibin? He’s already working as a companion animal vet in Levin and commuting daily from Palmerston North. “We’ve settled in Palmy now, and I’ve found my life here.”
