Breathe + Flow with Linsey Smith

Are you a yoga lover? Are you interested in finding relaxation for your mind and body and improving your health in a fun way during this winter? Join Linsey Smith for Breathe + Flow – a fantastic weekly virtual yoga program to relax, breathe, and find connection.

You are invited to join this program just for alumni to strengthen Te Whare Tapa Whā – the four cornerstones of health (a model created by Sir Mason Durie). This program integrates te reo Māori and yoga in an easy-to-follow format, whatever your current level of understanding.

Classes run weekly for eight weeks on Wednesday nights 7.00 pm–8.30 pm beginning August 10.

Linsey created this program to guide you through mindful movement – to release tension and promote a range of motion, strength, and balance, combined with meditation, breathing practices, and guided deep relaxation – for greater awareness and release of stress. We come together to practice as a group, strengthening connections and relationships.


Registrations have now closed, yoga sessions were held from Aug 10, 2022.

About Linsey

Lindsey smithLinsey Smith – Te Arawa, Ngāti Whakaue, Ngāti Rangiwewehi, Ngāti Pikiao, Ngāti Whatua – Te Uri o Hau, Pākēha.

Linsey began her yoga journey 28 years ago while pregnant with her third child. She is a mama of four children and a nanny to two mokopuna/grandchildren. She was inspired to teach 22 years ago and completed training in Hatha and Integral Yoga through Ashram Yoga and IYTA NZ. She also studied and trained in Prenatal and Restorative yoga, the Neuroscience of Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and mediation in New Zealand and overseas.

Linsey now incorporates te reo Māori principles and infuses te reo Māori in her teaching. Her relaxed, inclusive, and intuitive approach leaves you feeling restored and renewed after each class.
