Like other successful companies, they have come up with innovative solutions which blend the complexities of the volatile business environment with traditional approaches to engagement, strategy and leadership. About Michael Ahie

Michael is Chancellor of Massey University and Chair of Plant & Food Research. He is a director of FMG and Chair of the Board of ComplyWith, Spring Sheep Milk Co., and the New Zealand Plant Market Access Council (PMAC). He is a member of the Inland Revenue’s Risk & Assurance Committee.
Michael speaks regularly at industry groups and forums on the primary industries, AgriFood and the increasing role of Māori in these sectors. He draws on his experience growing up in a farming community in Coastal South Taranaki and his previous executive roles with Toyota New Zealand Ltd, the New Zealand Dairy Board and Wrightson Ltd. Michael completed the Executive Development Programme at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and received his Honours degree from Massey University. Of Taranaki, Ngā Ruahine and Ngāti Ruanui descent, Michael lives in Wellington.
